Majority Democrats have slashed a combined $1 billion from Medicaid in this budget and the last. During Saturday’s operating budget debate in the House, Rep. Matt Marshall, R-Eatonville, fought to restore part of that funding for Washington’s most vulnerable citizens in need of care. Democrats said no.
