Marshall calls out taxpayer-funded abortion drug waste
Rep. Matt Marshall, R-Eatonville, takes to the House floor to challenge what he calls a self-inflicted emergency created by state government. After spending roughly $2 million on a large stockpile of abortion drugs, lawmakers moved to let the state give them away as expiration dates approach instead of recovering taxpayer costs. In this floor speech mashup, Marshall argues: Taxpayers are being forced to absorb the loss The state should recover costs, not give the drugs away. There was no real emergency. Government is trying to clean up a political mistake without accountability Marshall also pushes to use the drugs’ medical names and warns the bill allows government to erase evidence of waste instead of owning it.
