Rep. Marshall stands up for Washingtonians and the initiative process
After majority Democrats rejected a motion calling for immediate committee hearings on two initiatives to the Legislature, Rep. Matt Marshall, R-Eatonville, spoke against a Democrat motion to refer the initiatives to protect fairness in girls’ sports and parental rights to the House Education Committee, where Democrat leadership has already indicated they won’t get hearings.
