Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Happy spring!

Last week, we wrapped up 10 days of intense floor action that ran into the early morning hours on several days. On March 12, the final bill before House of Origin Cutoff was House Bill 1296, the majority party bill that guts the parent’s bill of rights initiative, I-2081, passed by the Legislature just last session.

Learn more about that bill and several others in my video below.

House Bill 1296, the bill that erodes parental rights, is scheduled for a public hearing in the Senate Committee on Early Learning & K-12 Education tomorrow, Thursday, March 20, at 10:30 a.m. You can share your thoughts on the bill or sign up to testify here.
