2nd District lawmakers to host town hall meeting in Yelm on Saturday, March 22
As the 2025 legislative session enters its final weeks, Sen. Jim McCune and Reps. Andrew Barkis and Matt Marshall are inviting 2nd District residents to a town hall meeting on Saturday, March 22, to discuss key issues, provide legislative updates, and hear directly from the community.
- What: 2nd District Town Hall with Sen. Jim McCune, Rep. Andrew Barkis, and Rep. Matt Marshall
- When: Saturday, March 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Where: Yelm Community Center | 301 2nd St SE, Yelm, WA 98597
During the 90-minute meeting, McCune, R-Graham, Barkis, R-Olympia, and Marshall, R-Eatonville, will provide updates on major legislative proposals that could make it to the governor’s desk this session and then take questions from attendees. Those unable to attend the meeting are encouraged to contact the lawmakers directly with questions or feedback.
